There is some evidence to suggest that vitamin C may help treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis by preventing the secretion of histamine by white blood cells and increases detoxification of histamine. Some studies also reported that vitamin C may help control hay fever by keeping hay fever in remission. ZincAdequate zinc intake is essential in maintaining the integrity of the immune system and zinc deficient individuals are known to experience increased susceptibility to a variety of infectious agents.
