Description

Evening Primrose (EPO) is a herb with a beautiful bright yellow flower but it is its seeds that contain the active constituents. EPO is rich in essential fatty acids; Gamma Linolenic acid and Linoleic acid.

Essential fatty acids are a vital part of all cell membranes and function as precursors to prostaglandins, which have anti-inflammatory properties.

Evening Primrose Oil contains the richest source of Gamma Linolenic acid than any other plant source.

Recommended Daily Dosage for Adults

Take 1 to 3 capsules daily with food or as directed by your healthcare provider.

Medicine Interactions

PHENOTHIAZINES – EPO may reduce seizure threshold and reduce drug effectiveness. Seek medical advice.

EPILEPSY – If taking epileptogenic drugs please seek medical advice.

ORAL ANTICOAGULANTS – EPO may increase the risk of bleeding. Seek medical advice.
