Recommended Daily Dosage for AdultsTake 1 to 3 capsules daily with food or as directed by your healthcare provider. Medicine InteractionsSAQUINAVIR – Garlic may reduce the blood levels of saquinavir (antiretetroviral, protease inhibitor). Seek medical advice. ANTICOAGULANTS – Garlic may increase the effects of anticoagulants such as warfarin. Seek medical advice. ANTIPLATELET – Garlic may increase the effects of antiplatelet drugs. Seek medical advice. Garlic may increase the risk of bleeding associated with surgery. Discontinue use at least 2 weeks before surgery. Adults only. Not to be used in children under two years of age. Garlic is not recommended at doses greater than usual dietary intake during pregnancy. If symptoms persist consult your Healthcare Practitioner. To avoid reflux action, avoid taking with hot liquids.
