Fish Oils are rich in Omega 3 Essential Fatty acids. The body cannot manufacture Omega-3 fatty acids and must obtain them from food sources.

The most important types of Omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil are Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

The body needs Eicosapentaenoic acid to produce prostaglandins, which are hormone-like substances that help to protect the heart and cell membranes. Docosahexaenoic acid is required for the normal development of the brain, the eyes, and the reproductive system.

The fish originate from the clean open waters of the South Pacific Ocean. Fish oils are extracted from the tissues (flesh) of fatty fish like herring, menhadens, pilchards, shads, sprads, sardines and anchovies.

Additional Information

No added sugar, salt, yeast, gluten, starch, wheat, corn, milk derivatives, preservatives, artificial colours and sweeteners.

Tested for heavy metals (mercury, lead, arsenic), pesticide residues, dioxins and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB's).

Recommended Daily Dosage for Adults

As an Omega 3 supplement – Take 1 capsule three times a day with food.

For arthritis – Take up to four capsules, three times daily or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

To avoid reflux action, avoid taking with hot liquids.

Medicine Interactions

Individuals on anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents and mon-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) should seek medical advice before taking this product.

Cautions and Warnings

SEAFOOD – Not to be taken by sufferers of fish oil or shellfish allergies.

People with bleeding disorders should seek medical advice before taking fish oil supplements. Suspend use of high dose supplements (>10g) 1 week before major surgery.

If symptoms persist consult your Healthcare Practitioner.

Vitamin, mineral, and herbal supplements are not intended to replace a balanced diet.
