Venus Termite Trap Concrete System

If your home is surrounded by concrete, you can protect your home from termites with this concrete pack. This pack is designed for concrete areas of your home. This pack comes with 4 Concrete Termite Traps.

Soil traps may also need to be purchased to protect your home.

The average house (700 sqm) requires placement of 15 traps minimum for effective protection. As a rule it is suggested a further 2 traps are required for every additional 100 sqm. Please click here for Venus Termite Trap Calculator to work out the number of traps ideally required for your home.

Installation Guide

1. Drill the concrete with a 77mm core drill - 1 metre from the house
2. Distance Traps no more than 4.6 metres apart
3. Place the wood into the holes created.
4. Place the metal lid over the hole and screw the lid down. The bottom of the lid expands to fit the hole, which makes the lid secure in the concrete.
5. Corners - Traps must be no more than 1 metre from each corner of the building.
6. Trap Location Markers are useful as reminders of trap locations or when foliage growth obscures the trap position
